Usui Reiki 1 Class

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, and facilitates healing through the transfer of universal life force energy. Reiki is derived from the Japanese words "rei," meaning universal, and "ki," meaning life force energy. It is based on the belief that this energy flows through all living things and is essential for health and wellbeing. The practice was developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui, who sought to create a method for healing that could be easily taught to others.

Reiki 1 starts with the fundamentals. I will do the sacred attunements on each attendee to open you to the Reiki universal life force energy. We will sit in stillness and I will help you connect to how your personal energy moves and flows. You will learn key hand placements for doing self healing and healing work on others. This class will take place over two days to give you time and space to integrate the energy and notice subtle changes within your field.

Class will be held in person in the large conference room at 141 N Martinwood Road, Knoxville, TN 37923 and will be simultaneously facilitated through Zoom for those that will attend remotely.
